Terms and conditions

1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Scrubup. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Scrubup mobile application and website (collectively, the "Platform") and the mobile car wash services provided by us (the "Services"). By booking a Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


2. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS
2.1. Auto-Renewal: By purchasing a Subscription Plan (e.g., Weekly, Monthly), you expressly authorize Scrubup to initiate recurring automatic deductions from your registered payment method.
2.2. Billing Cycle: Subscription fees are billed in advance. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date via the App.
2.3. Failed Payments: If an automatic deduction fails, your Service will be suspended immediately until valid payment information is updated and the balance is cleared.


3. SERVICE EXECUTION
3.1. Access: You must ensure the vehicle is accessible at the booked location. If our team cannot access the vehicle (e.g., locked gate, security restriction), the booking will be considered "No Show" and is non-refundable.
3.2. Vehicle Condition: We reserve the right to refuse service if a vehicle is in a condition that may cause damage to our equipment or staff (e.g., heavy construction mud, biohazards).


4. LIABILITY AND DAMAGE POLICY (IMPORTANT)
4.1. Limitation of Liability: While Scrubup exercises the highest degree of care, in the event of proven negligence resulting in damage to your vehicle, Scrubup’s total aggregate liability shall be strictly limited to the cost of repair or AED 5,000 (Five Thousand Dirhams), whichever is lower.
4.2. Direct Damage Only: This liability coverage applies exclusively to direct physical damage to the vehicle’s bodywork or interior caused by our staff during the service. It specifically excludes:

  • Pre-existing damage (dents, scratches, paint oxidation, loose trim).

  • Mechanical or electrical malfunctions (e.g., sensors, windows, engine bays).

  • Damage resulting from after-market modifications (e.g., spoilers, tinting) not installed by the manufacturer.
    4.3. Exclusion of Valuables: Scrubup is NOT liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property left inside the vehicle. It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to remove all:

  • Cash, Cheques, and Credit Cards.

  • Jewelry and Watches.

  • Electronic Devices (Laptops, Phones).

  • Important Documents.
    Claims regarding missing items will be automatically rejected.


5. CANCELLATIONS
5.1. One-Time Bookings: Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund.
5.2. Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription renewal at any time. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining days of a current billing cycle once the fee has been deducted.

6. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes shall be referred to the Dubai Courts.
